Welcome to the gallery!
Here you’ll find all sorts of lore and information on the various OCs I’ve created throughout the years, as well as reference images and the like. I use this page to track and share my OCs and their lore/references!
My OCs are perpetually WIP and will have lore/ideas around them I haven’t gotten around to fleshing out yet.
You can click on any image to see the larger version of it. All illustrations are drawn by me, except where noted!

— Lumps —
About
Also known as “Lump Girl” based on how lumpy she turned out when I drew her on the subway, she’s an OC with no real solid backstory, and it tends to change based on the situation or piece. Typically, she’s represented as a bored and straight-flaced looking woman who is always some variation of tired, depressed, or bored. Even if she’s wearing a cute outfit or in a happy situation, she still looks desolate and sad. She’s my ‘muse’, and I tend to draw her first when I’m bored or warming up.
— Vivienne LaChance —
About
Born in a poor village, she lost her mother at a young age and was raised by a deadbeat father. Learning she was skilled at magic as a girl, she left home and traveled the realm performing odd adventuring jobs, and quickly becoming one of the more accomplished adventurers in the realm.
Unfortunately her family name caught up to her, and all her fortune she had amassed on her own was rapidly spent paying off her ailing father’s massive gambling debts. With a sudden need for a steady income to continue paying off her financial burden, her old ‘friend’ Bobette found her a position teaching at Potts School of Witchcraft in the Dark Arts Department.
A solitary and emotionally cold woman, she finds teaching a draining activity. She is not particularly patient or tolerant of her students - in fact, she eagerly awaits the day her family’s debt is paid off once and for all and she can leave the teaching world behind and return to her proper place - at the bottom of a dusty old dungeon. Alone.
— Bobette —
About
The young Bobette lived an incredibly privilged life; the daughter of a family of low-nobility, she enrolled in Pott’s School of Witchcraft dreaming one day of becoming the strongest and most powerful mage known to man.
Unfortunately for Bobette, magical aptitude is something money can’t easily buy, and despite trying her hardest she struggled all throughout her schooling. It wasn’t until an chance encounter with Vivienne
did she realize what those with true skill in magic were capable of. A poor magician but a talented student, she took the lesson to heart: She didn’t need to be the best mage, and there was no shame in simply being a competent one. And so, she settled upon chasing a more modest form of magic more accessible to the masses: Alchemy.
After years of study she now teaches at the Pott’s School of Witchcraft, teaching the basics of Alchemy to students. She’s somewhat of an airhead, often found dropping potions, misplacing ingredients, and accidentally causing an unwanted explosion or two; there’s a saying that if you’ve survived Bobette’s class you can survive anything.
That said - perhaps because of her journey of self-discovery - she’s often thought of as a kind and patient woman who would happily go to great lengths for the happiness and wellbeing of her students.
— Aelwynn —
About
Sent to the earth by the Goddess of Life, Aelwynn is a demi-Goddess - grown from a seed in the deepest tree of the Hearthwood forest.
She doesn’t remember why she was placed on the land of mortals, nor what she was intended to do while placed there; perhaps it’s because of this she often finds herself wandering - roads, trails and streams, or anywhere that implies a direction.
Aelwynn has a tall and god-like presence, but a soft and unassuming personality. She tends to look past people rather than at them - almost like a cat looking at ghosts - and she is frequently asking questions about the great world she has never seen before.
Some of the mortals of the cult of the Coven of Life prophesized her creation and have gone so far as to send a lone halfling as an inconspicuous escort to ensure her safety as she carries out her journey to complete her divine mission…whenever she discovers what that actually is.
— Tillie —
About
Tillie grew up in the tiny halfling hamlet of Honeymeade. While most halflings spend their entire lives never leaving home, Tillie always wanted nothing more than to see the world and venture off on her own - something her whole village were constantly warn her against. She would spend hours as a child on the plateaus outside of town, looking out at the dots of human villages in the distance, fantasizing about seeing them for herself.
As soon as she could, Tillie found a job at an inn on the road near her town working as a barmaid serving drinks and meals to every manner of adventurer and passerby. The work was tough, and she was often ill-treated by both the owners and the staff, but she loved to hear stories of the patrons of their adventures in the wide world she would never see.
However, one day late in her shift the inn was attacked by highwaymen. While the owner was being assailed by them, Tillie realized she had an opportunity: she grabbed the cashbox from under the counter, threw a bowl through a window and fled for her life into the forest.
Too ashamed to return to her kinfolk - and definitely not wanting to see how the robbery had ended - Tillie commited herself to chase her self-interests and use the money and explore the world on her own terms. Being branded a thief weighs upon her good nature, but with her nimble fingers and her natural charm, she’s finally able to take the world that no one wanted her to have.
— Vicori —
About
Born in the hollows of Everthin, Vicori was born into a low caste of nobility among the dark elves. She was married off and sold away to a “wretched man”, and spent much of her younger years living under his thumb alongside his other wives. While most were complacent and left ignorant, she felt nothing but disdain towards herself. One night it came to a head, and she drove a knife into his skull and fled from the caves, upwards to where the surfacefolk lived.
She spent many nights wandering, homeless and vulnerable. She started to pick up tricks and habits; lying, cheating, stealing. She learned how to wield a sword, and before long her natural aptitude for trouble set her on a path towards adventuring.
Not long was it until she met a human named Darren - another adventurer - with whom she gradually fell in love. They spent years going on many adventures together, but during a quest Darren fell prey to a giant spider. Though he was from noble birth and left her a sizable fortune, she was once again alone.
Now, Lady Vicori has noticed herself having become a different woman since she retired from adventuring; she lives alone with a maid in the noble quarter of a city, maintaining a discrete presence. She’s the only dark elf to be seen among a sea of humans, a fact they are all but eager to remind her of.
Nowadays she prefers a book and a warm blanket to the crossing of swords, or the silence of her estate on a rainy night to the echoes of a cold dungeon. She’s grown much colder and haughty than she ever used to be, but she insists she is happy.
That said, on some nights she admires her old adventuring memorabilia, and the prospect of picking it up again and marching off into the night doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
